 The very first blossoms are appearing and the days warming, so before winter disappears altogether why not come and enjoy the delights of the Southern Highlands and Kangaroo Valley. The cooler evenings give you an excellent excuse for our roaring fires and this special package for Friends of Crystal Creek Meadows – will warm and delight.
Visit the newly reopened Burrawang General Store (chef Michael Garske – once of Relish at Balmain Bug in Sydney) with its fantastic original 1860’s cedar ceiling and fittings, marvel at the huge views from the Illawarra Fly, taste the freshly made pasta at Café Bella or taste the delights of the Friendly Inn’s Bistro (with new chef Cheryl) and its newly opened dining room with log fire.

5 Star & Green Globe Awards
With our new services we have been upgraded to 5 stars. So Crystal Creek Meadows offers the only 5 star fully self contained B&B style cottages in Sydney surrounds and the South Coast NSW. Also for the second year running we won a highly commended in the Green Globes Sustainability Awards 2009 run by the Dept. Environment and Climate Change. So you can enjoy luxury and be good to the environment!
Conservation
We have commenced our second phase of rehabilitating wetlands on 1 1/2 acres of our property where some wombats and wrens try to live. After two years of blackberry weed control we have now planted 300 native grasses, 20 two vain hickory, 20 She Oaks, 5 Rough Bark Apple and 5 River Peppermint trees. It's great to see the changes already! We have also installed a heat pump that will save 70% of our electricity consumption previously used for hot water. It is very effective and the grants very generous. Please contact Chris for more information on grants and unit performance.

 With so many of us seeking to create a really memorable birthday, anniversary or family reunion we have created the Family Birthday Party Package that combines our cottages and their special features into an affordable package. Some of the cottages like Billabong are suitable for grandparents while Fleur and Rose are great for young families. Crystal Creek Meadows cottages won the "Australian Tourism Award" at this year’s Qantas Excellence in Tourism Awards held in Melbourne. Each cottage is totally self contained and private and is for your exclusive use only. Each of our four cottages have king size beds with luxurious linen (two cottages have two bedrooms). Our cottages have wood burning fires, spa baths and of course lovely fluffy 100% Egyptian cotton towels. Our cottages are set in glorious countryside and gardens, are tastefully decorated, yet comfy, reverse cycle air-conditioning, heating, full kitchen, dining/lounge room with digital tv, dvd, vcr, cd etc and lots of films to borrow. Each cottage also has oil burners, soft lighting and candles to give a lovely warm glow in the evenings.
