Crystal Creek Meadows wins Australian Tourism Award for Hosted Accommodation and
Green Globe Award Sustainability Award
Crystal Creek Meadows Luxury Cottages & Spa Retreat in Kangaroo Valley is delighted to announce that it has just won two important awards in two days, highlighting how it is possible to offer luxury accommodation to an international level, while at the same time having significant environmental policies.
 The first award was at a ceremony at Parliament House on Thursday where Hon. Verity Helen Firth MP, Minister for Climate Change and the Environment presented Crystal Creek Meadows with a Highly Commended Award in the Green Globe Sustainability Awards, in the Small Business category.
On Friday evening in Canberra, at the Australian Tourism Awards, Crystal Creek Meadows received an Award for Winner of Excellence Highly Commended for a second year in the Hosted Accommodation category.
"Very importantly, winning these two awards emphasises that it is possible to provide a quality tourism experience that is also mindful of the environment, "says Sophie Warren owner of Crystal Creek Meadows. "Our guests can enjoy a really indulgent holiday at our property without harming the environment. We offer our own hand made aromatherapy spa treats and locally produced goodies which go to make their stay unique. Winning these awards has only been made possible by the outstanding support we receive from the local businesses and individuals that work with us. We sincerely thank them very much for their support," says Sophie.
Crystal Creek Meadows has won four South Coast Tourism Awards , two NSW Tourism Awards, two National Tourism Awards and the Green Globe Sustainability Award during its 4 and a half years of operation. It is also a carbon neutral business & residence and plays an active role in the community; Christopher Warren is president of the Kangaroo Valley Tourist Association and member of the Moss Vale Road Action Group.
Crystal Creek Meadows has four very private, luxury eco cottages, an aromatherapy garden and 16 acres of beautiful grounds, located just three minutes from the quaint historic village of Kangaroo Valley.
