Fleet Air Arm Museum - HMAS Albatross Nowra South Coast NSW |
Australia's largest aviation museum (and the country's largest regional museum) houses fascinating relics, models and simulations that are educational and really great fun for the whole family.
Fleet Air Arm Museum (formerly known as and incorporating Australia's Museum of Flight) is located just outside the main gates of the Royal Australian Naval Air Station at HMAS Albatross Nowra. This world class 6,000 square metre display space features more than thirty military and civilian aircraft. Fundraiser airshows are organised by the museum (with the RAN) each April and October
Nowra is close to Kangaroo Valley and can easily be included on day tours to the South Coast beaches via Berry in the Shoalhaven region of NSW.
